Hey guys

First I'd like to thank all of you who visited my page, commented and added my work to their faves. (almost 21.000 pageviews yey!) A huge thank you and many :hug:s

Second in line: I'll be cleaning up my gallery soon, leaving only the, what I believe to be, best part of my work so far in it. ;)
Why? Because I plan to take photography much more serious and leave kidding around to others and I want everyone to see that. I no longer consider "taking photos" only a hobby. I really want to make a career in this direction and I feel that with a little effort I can do it.
By saying that I'm taking stuff serious I don't mean to say that I'll stop having fun when shooting... No way in Hell! I'm just saying that I want to take everything to a much higher level and work my way up to becoming a professional photographer.

Third on the list: You might have noticed that the most recent work that I submitted is entitled ISEE0x - xxxxx. Let me tell you the story of that. A few weeks ago I joined an extensive 12 weeks workshop on photography. This workshop is hosted by Ms. Andreea Drilea, who also teaches artistic photography classes at the Schools of Arts and Crafts right here in good ol' Kronstadt. And let me tell you she does a tremendous job on both occasions. ;)

This workshop I'm telling you about is called "ISEE - Shooting Science" and combines both theory/technicalities and a lot of practice (studio and on location shootings) in a cozy and friendly atmosphere in Andreea's living room/studio. Romanian speakers can read more about it here www.i-see.ro/ (bottom right, there's a link to the facebook page, where you can find some making-of shots from the recent shootings and more)
During each shooting (aprox. once a week) we get to "experiment" with beautiful models, who are being prepared by pro MUAs & hairstylists, and everything else that we need (studio lights, props, etc).
So the results of these "experiments" (according to the theme of the workshop, we, "the students" are all scientists who research the field of photography and perform a whole lot of experiments) I share with you and entitle them as I mentioned. :aww:

Oh oh oh! One more thing: A very very special thank you to Rene, artist6 for gifting me with another 12 months of subscription :smooch: :tighthug:
Lieben herzlichen Dank!

That's all for the moment. Stay tuned for more. :salute:

P.S. My deepest appipolilogies if I didn't make much sense in the above text, but it's almost 5am... So I'll head to  and read it again/correct possible mistakes when I wake up... ;)

Yay! Experimenting is the best way to make sure you're progressing in art. And YES for making a career out of photography! :excited: you're gonna grow big, I know it :D
